Uhh, you mean for storage, right? Because I'm not sure if it'd need that much RAM.

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. That kind of flash memory is dirt cheap to mass-produce nowadays, I don't know why the DSi doesn't have more.

That's the amount of memory that game cartridges have, not the amount of internal memory for storing downloadable games and such.
