Look: Final Design is TBA

Check out the features tab at http://e3.nintendo.com/3ds/ .

Apparently, the design of the system is TBA...?

Considering that there were at least 100 peroxide blonds walking these games out around the conference floor, in addition to whatever is going to be on the show floor...AND the system is apparently going to be released this fall...don't you think it's unlikely, if not impossible, for the design to change...?
Perhaps changing the logo on it might be considered a design change, since the 3DS title isn't set in stone yet?

It's final. The thing looks so sick and from what I've read, it's very comfortable. No need to redesign.

DS changed between E3 and fall release, 3DS can too.

Not to mention the release date isn't even confirmed yet. All we know is before March 2011.

They'll probably make a few tweaks but I doubt they will be huge differences.

I sure hope that isn't the final design.

I felt the whole on stage rollout was more for the spectacle. Also there was simply no way for the press to get the visuals unless they got a hands on, and with the Sony event between their showing and gettin out to the show floor, it was a way to give them a hands on ASAP.

Personally, I won't be surprised if it changes in design. When we first saw the DS, it looked different than the final version, but it seems like they made it quite presentable, prototype or not.

Actually, the first iteration of the DS (2004) with that free Metroid demo was not the first DS. No, there was another version that was extremely ugly, so ugly that Nintendo, at the last minute, changed the design of the system right before it was set to launch.

Anyone out there remeber that? I sure as hell do. Lol.....

Anything is possible.

Sorry for the 2 quick posts, but for reference:

And of course, the final DS released: http://techfresh.net/wp-content/uploads/2006/05/nintendo_ds.jpg

Anything can happen.
