It's been reported that there were a lot of demos that had characters from the big franchises that you could display on the top screen in 3D and swivel around with the control stick.

Definately looks like a Melee trophy, but the bottom screen looks like it's probably just a tech demo to show off the 3D. As I recall, they used part of Hey You! Pikachu as a tech demo for the original DS, I wouldn't take this as a sign that we'll get a Smash Bros. game just yet.

It's not.

One of the tech demos was to show off the camera rotation. They had sample pictures of "statues" that you could rotate the camera around. The Bowser / Luigi one was one of them.
