There is just one detail that i dont approve of...

Other than having the awesomeness explode my brain, i still wonder why they would have a control nub and pad on the same side since one would always be not used. Plus all the games will have us using the nub so that kinda negates the purpose of the control pad, especially having it on the same side...still not like it matters much, but i just quesion this

And yea sure, put it on the other side, at least that way it might be used sort of like CoD on X360

All I know is that if that nub isn't better than a PSP's, I'm ripping it out of there and wiring up a Wii nunchuck to my 3DS.

Because you wouldn't be using them both at the same time, so there's no point to having them accessed by two different fingers? You answered your own question.

Besides, there might be a game that can switch between using one or the other, and this way you can use the same thumb to quickly switch between the two.
