For the price, im guessing anywhere between 180-250. (If its more than 250 im sure if i will buy it, doubt it will be though) It could be more than the WII because the WII is old now, the 3DS will bring 3D with out glasses and incredible graphics for a hand held. As for release date im hearing anywhere from October-March, but i have a feeling it could be out around fall to holiday '11 if its not out by holiday '10. What do you guys think?

That is a reasonable price.

$200 at Christmas time. The fact that they had probably a thousand 3DS's means the hardware is ready, it just depends if the games are ready. 6 months is a long time though.

I'm going to guess $180 and November 14, 2010.

$200 and, honestly, I think they will try to push it out prior to Christmas this year. Speculation is March of 2011 but aside from a couple tweeks to the 3D here and there, it looked like a finished product. A lot of this will ride on the amount and quality of launch titles.

But consider that Pokemon Black and White doesn't come out until Spring 2011. I really don't think they'd want to risk losing sales on a Pokemon release because of the 3DS. So I'd say probably more like November 2011? I agree that the quantity of hardware units that they had could probably allow them to release it earlier, but whether they'll actually do that is debatable.

I will not pay more then $170. It better just replace the DSi price and then the DSi get a price cut. That would be the only thing cause damn it, you can already buy a freakin wii for that price or add a hundred to getting a PS3 or 360. Any more would be ridiculous considering it's still part of the DS family and not a true successor, just an updated model.
