I wouldn't call it ugly but yeah I dislike that model.

I was hoping for a different look than a DS and I was disappointed.

Anyway, it all comes down to our taste.

I would think that with Nintendo having so many actual devices already made to show at e3 that these models were at least considered for final release.

If anything, e3 was just a showing of what they picked as the final product and would make minor changes depending on reaction.

I agree it's not the greatest in terms of aesthetics and appearance, but I don't see Nintendo doing a whole lot about that at this point.

The reason I'm calling it ugly is mostly because of proportioning. The internal camera looks terrible above the screen, the 3D adjuster just juts out, start/select/home are on a weird platform on the same level as the touch screen, and when it's closed, the "pieces" don't fit together as well as the DSLite or DSi.

Middle one. It looks really... strange. Also, headphone jack coming out of the exact middle of the console.

It honestly just looks like a redesigned DS Lite....

The headphone jack looks fine to me really.
