Downloadable content?

Will the 3DS have DS Ware like the DSi? I notice the release date in Japan is October which means it will probably have a US release date of March 2011. If there is no DS Ware on the 3DS I could pick up a 3DS in Japan and it will be no different than buying one here in the US (although the Japanese models are usually more cool) that is why I am asking aobut the downloadable content. I didn't notice it mentioned, but maybe I missed it.

It may have region locking which is a major difference and deterrent on buying the japanese system as your only one.

Also it is pretty much assured that they'll have downloadable content.
