Does the 3DS project or is it more like a 3D poster from the 90s?

Just wondering.

It's not our fault you can't use your basic common sense of using a search engine or simply taking a look at the other 200,000 threads about the 3DS.

But to be nice and answer your question: it projects.

we're not the ones asking this sort of question on the gamefaqs message boards

So I shouldn't be asking about a gaming related topic on Gamefaqs? Wow, just wow..

All stereo 3d (even posters) works fundamentally in the same way: send two slight different images to each of your eyes, so it can both "project" or simulate depth.

The latter is usually easier to do, more effective and less eye-straining, though.

I only ask, because it sounded like the system would project holograms. So I wanted to get a bit of clarity on the topic. Why must you all be so rude? Thanks to those who weren't.
