Is the sound louder/better? better than psp sound?

It should be better then the DS lite which actually lowered the quality and volume of the original DS's speakers. Should be similar to the improved DSi speakers, maybe better.

No idea about the PSP's speakers.

It really, really doesn't take much to beat the PSP's speakers....those things are awful.

I'm not sure if that's what you mean, though.

meh i always use really high quality headphones on my DS. i feel it works best.
