Do GBA games work on a Gameboy Color?

I want to say yes, with the 3DS having the whole "depth slider". But most likely, no.

I very much doubt it. They run on completely different resolutions.

No, the 3DS is not a DS system, despite it's design and name. It is a new console entirely, you cannot play 3DS games on any other DS system.

You can play DS games on the 3DS though.

This is a Next Generation system. meaning that it wont work on the previous generation systems. The power of this system is greater than that of the DS, so the games would never be able to run on them.
