You can see in that vid its not 3D like people are thinking, nothing is coming out of the screen. There's just depth there, like looking through a window. That's all it is.

There is no 3D effect in that video whatsoever. You have no idea what you're talking about.

The proper phrase is "couldn't care less". "Could care less" means you care.

Yes you can, as you can see from that video I just posted, its just that it looks like a double image sometimes, so nintendo didnt want to show footage like that, but you can clearly see what the 3D is like there.

No you can't.

Stop spreading your ignorance to everybody else.

It looks like 2D, but instead, it's 3D. I'm sure you get what I mean.

Saw a video and it looks like it is not "OH LOOK AT THIS SWORD COME RIGHT AT YOU" kind of 3D.
It looks it gives a "depth" of the world you are playing in, if you know what I mean. It's hard to explain, but it makes you feel like you can reach into the world you are playing.

Except for the fact that the 3D effect DOES NOT TRANSLATE TO VIDEO.

Stop with this ignorance already.

I can't believe I should need to post this but. From IGN. http://ds.ign.com/articles/109/1098014p1.html

Nintendogs and Cats is also playable in a basic form. To retain the 3D effect, players interact with a silhouette of the dog on the lower screen. The upper screen shows the puppy all cute and adorable (and with some detailed fur texturing). When you toss the tennis ball to him, he really looks like he hops off into the distance, and when he delivers it, he really does come out of the screen in a nifty effect.

This 3DS adds depth. So you who are arguing it ONLY does depth, as in you are looking into the screen but the 3D effect doesn't come past the screen, are only partially correct. It IS like looking into a window. It will look like the LCD screen isn't even there. But there will be things that look like they are "OUTSIDE" the window (depth) but also things coming toward you "INSIDE" the window.

There's also a video of metal gear where there is a bug that goes right up to the camera. This is another peice of evidence that things actually do pop out of the screen TOWARD your eyes.
