Analogy for TC

GBC = DS

GBA = 3DS

You could not play GBA games on the GBC, but you could play GBC games on the GBA.

That is how it will work. 3DS is the successor to the DS


Better example:

DS = GB
DSi = GBC
3DS = GBA

im sure it could hints the thing sticking out of the 3ds cartrage to prevent it from being put in a ds & it would probly crash ur ds & then nintendo would be like O SHI* FAIL

Actually, bad example. At least the GBC added something substantial to its predecessor: color and a bit more raw power. DSi adds little onto the DS (especially if we're talking Lite) and even takes away GBA support. It kind of fails.

That, and GBC was an original system with its own line of games, DSi is an upgrade without much in the way of exclusivity.
