wow, i just realized the top screen is black for all colors

i was looking a photos from the e3 press kit, and all the top screens, even for the colored ones, are black. kind of weird. since the DS had a solid color, while the 3DS is Black & <insert color>

It's gonna get a redesign. The original DS beta-whatever had black too. The first DS Phat design I guess.

I hope they keep it like that actually. Made it look nice.

To me, I think it is black because it allows the eyes to focus more on the 3D aspect. the color black allows you to center and focus on something easier than another color.

I can live with the mismatch in color, but what bugs me even more is how when closed, the top half is obviously a bit larger than the bottom.
