people expected a $150 price point...

You might as well accept the disappointment now and leave this forum

"But the Wii is $200! theres no way they could charge more for the 3DS than the Wii!"
-Remember the Wii cost $250 at launch and this 3DS is said to have even more processing power than the Wii.

"It's a handheld console! no way it could go above $150!"
-Do you not realize the DSi is currently sold at around $180, and doesn't do a 3rd of the things the 3DS does.

Expect a $200-$250 price point.. maybe even $300 just to let yourself be excited when they announce it at lower than 300

I'm calling it.
The proper phrase is "couldn't care less". "Could care less" means you care.

Not so limp anymore

It will be minumum $199. Anyone expecting below that is really going to be disappointed.

This thing will (probably) not retail at $300. That's just crazy talk. I'd guess $199.

"the new nintendo 3DS system will be available to consumers for five hundred and ninety-nine U.S. dollars!"
