What do you think the final version will look like?

Here's a picture of the DS from E3 2004 (its very first announcement):

Now obviously the DS doesn't look like that - even the brick version is much smoother and less toy-like. Now how do you think they can improve on the 3DS?

I'm sure it will look close to how the prototype is. The original DS doesn't look like that, but it wasn't much off from that.

Probably very similar (or the same) as the one shown at E3. The one shown back in 2004 had small ass buttons and no speakers to be seen and looked very crappy. The one shown at E3 this year looked nice and sleek and I would LOVE if it looked like that at launch
3DS is going to be the best portable ever and hopefully one of the best consoles ever.

That would make me very happy. Even though I like having the slider above the D pad on the left, I wouldn't complain at all if that was the final design.
You've got it under control?! You're grabbing a ****ing bazooka, dumbass!

Final Look is TBA.

That likely means nothing other than the black part on the top screen will become the same colour as the bottom.

Considering that a lot of parents will be looking to pick this thing up and most people in general are kinda dumb, I thing it needs to look quite different that the ds, ds lite so that it will be obvious that its a new product. Beyond the analogue nub and a slightly larger top screen it's not immediately noticeable that it's a totally new iteration, it looks like a plain old ds with a few more bells and whistles.
