do you think the 3DS' final model will change alot from the prototype??

I actually really like the look of it so far. The only things I may consider changing is the placement of the power button since it is rather close to the start button. However I'd assume you'd have to both press and hold the power button to turn the machine off, so aciddentally tapping it probably wont turn the 3DS off.

Other than the power button the 3d-slider looks a bit fragile, I wonder if they're going to change it to a button toggle, like the volume on a DSi... I'm usualy super careful and over protective of my handhelds. so I doubt I'd ever drop it. but if I did, its current prototype model looks like that slider could easily break off.. and then you might be trapped in 3d land forever!.

one more thing. the start/slect and home buttons look wierd, from what I hear they weren't actual buttons so its hard to say, but they just look a bit odd to me... i dunno.

anyways. topic?

I liked the slide thing as the Power button on the side of the DS Lite the best.

I don't think it'll change too much, if any. Nintendo's had years to refine their dual-screened handheld design. What we saw at E3 should be the culmination of their work.
