http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyroscope

A gyroscope will maintain it's original orientation, despite any changes to it's frame's orientation. Therefore, it give you a reference point to tell how an objects orientation changes.

In otherwords it's a tilt sensor, and can tell how you are holding the 3DS.

I thought that was the motion sensor.

That means the motion sensor is in the camera? Or is it like the wii remote?

We already know that the camera on the inside has motion sensing abilities, because we were told that the dogs in Nintendogs (+Cats) can react to your moment based on if you turn your head or move around and whatnot.

That's head tracking, it's following your head. Motion sensing senses if the 3DS is moved from it's current location (not orientation, but position). It does this with accelerometers, which detect acceleration.

so basically (and we all know it's coming)

We will see probably the coolest warioware ever. Not only will it beable to do the same stuff from the best warioware game ever (IMO) Warioware twisted, but it will also beable to do all the touch stuff, new motion stuff, and now all incrazy eye poping 3D. I can't wait.
