The 3DS touchscreen should be designed like the Nokia N900 screen

That screen uses resistance-based input, is incredibly precise and has some very nice sensitivity. But the biggest thing is that i can hold it sideways like any normal handheld system and use my thumb for screen inputs as need, while opening and closing the slider as needed. It even features stylus use, but the thing is that the stylus doesn't cause screen dimples that are deep like the DS and fingers work really well.

No resistive touch screen please. My Samsung Mythic phone has a resistive screen and I don't really like it at all. Capacitive is the way to go (Iphone).
