If price is over $200....

then I am buying a Xbox 360 S instead.

I've already got a 360, don't need another one, so I'd rather have the 3DS. Besides, I have a feeling the Xbox360 Slim will have some sort of black ring of doom.

You're buying a console in the event the handheld you're interested in is too expensive for your tastes?

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Yeah, pretty much that but I do really want the 3DS.

imo it will be motre than $200.

Just look at the DSiXL. It's nearly $200 as is.
Now a newer, more powerful system, with more expensive technology, better visuals, lots of software installed, and a fantastic library comes out... and everyone expects it to be a lower price than their current 6 year old handheld? I don't see it happening.

I agree that the tech cost a lot but more than a console stronger than it as well?

What they should do is price the 3DS at what the DSi XL is right now and then cut back the XL's price.

From whats been posted, it'll be stronger than GC, weaker than Wii.
And yeah, I do see it costing as much as a Wii. It is the most advanced gamiung system they've created, it just so happens to be portable.

If they did a console version of it instead of a handheld, they'd be giving you a free 3d HDTV with the system(The systemn itself is a 3d HDTV). So a console version would likely need to be like $400-$700.
The Wii is an older outdated system. 3DS is more advanced, just not as graphically powerful as a home console.

So I see $200-$300 for a tiny 3dhdtv game system as reasonable.

I think that's the reason they did not announce the price at E3 because that will take away sales on the XL. They make profits on those each unit sold. When price is announced for the 3DS, I predict that all the current DS unit price will drop while 3DS will be $190... or $200.

The screen is no where near HDTV standards...
