if Sony doesn't make a PSP2 (or even a new model with a right analog nub), then it might happen

"or even a new model with a right analog nub"

Adding a second stick won't solve the PSP's problems. It'll make games like Peace Walker work better, but that's about it. Sony still has some serious issues with pricing and selection on PSN. Digital copies often cost more than UMDs, and you can't sell them back. That and a lot of great PSP games are UMD-only. It doesn't help that developers seem to be making more games the iPhone and DS, and less for the PSP.

The right analog nub is the only thing missing for the PSP IMO (Besides of course, L2 and R2). You know how much of a help that right nub would make in Monster Hunter?

So the 4th version of the DS is going to kill the PSP, which the previous 3 versions were unable to do? Interesting.

I wouldn't call this the "4th" version of the DS, considering this is an upgrade in the Hardware. This is similar to the upgrade from Gameboy Colour to GameBoy Advanced.

Also, it isn't like the PSP had four versions. 1000, 2000, 3000, PSPGo.
