The 3DS would be perfectly capable of rendering gorgeous cinematics using its own ingame engine. Resident Evil 3DS showed us this much. If they made a Metroid Prime on 3DS, the cutscenes would be ingame and look gorgeous, along with the rest of the game.

Exactly. If it can atleast match Metroid Prime (And the games shown prove it can) then it'll look gorgeous on its own.

Bah, just release Metroid Hunters 2 as a continuation of the multiplayer arena FPS game and have a seperate traditional metroid game, i rather like both styles and wouldnt want to see one side of things lacking because they tried to do both in one game.
