If you recall the Virtual Boy commercial, it did say, in fact, that it was a portable.

yeah us fanboys will like it, but the Xbox supremists will look at it and say eww.

and plus, with a new generation graphics have to be better or else its just the last system with a different interface.

plus doesnt everyone like better graphics?

1.) Who cares what other people think about it?
2.) The graphics look much, much better
3.) Again, graphics look great

Best games I've played so far this year: God of War 3, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, SC: Conviction, COD: MW2, Forza 3, Red Dead Redemption

To put the graphics into perspective-

Nintendogs + Cats- looks a little better than the DS version, less jaggies, higher resolution and polygon count, has fur this time
Zelda OOT 3D- late N64, early Dreamcast
Dead or Alive 3D- PS2
Kingdom Hearts 3D- Gamecube or better
Kid Icarus Uprising- Wii or higher
Metal Gear Solid- Wii or higher
Resident Evil Revelations- much better looking than any Wii game, but not up to PS3 or 360 graphics

There's a lot of variation there. When i say late N64 or early Dreamcast for Zelda, it means a game like Conker 64 or Sonic Adventure in terms of visuals. And keep in mind that none of these games are the final product and they will likely look even better in the final game. I've never seen a final game look worse than the tech demo, they always look at least on par, if not a lot better. I get the feeling Zelda is quite early in development. And already, the models look a lot more detailed, and from this screen, it looks like they are animating the characters better (you can see Link's hood flapping in the wind, which i don't recall happening in the original)- http://i47.tinypic.com/2l6d87.jpg
