True but if my DS dies... I guess I'd get a DS lite? --- Waiting for: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, Pokemon: Black Version, LoZ: Skyward Sword.

If your DS dies, and you have a full library of games for DS that you can't play anymore, the best thing to do would still be to wait for the release of the 3DS. You'd be able to play them, and you'd have a whole new console that's capable of much, much more, and isn't just a model redesign. --- Get smashed, gate crash!

Why would your DS die? My brother's died, but he messed with the battery. Mine hasn't had any problems and I got it maybe a month after launch. There's a lot going for a late November launch for the holidays, which isn't far away at all. Definitely wait out. --- HG: 1505-8210-4297 GameFAQs moderation failure: http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j43/king_wallace/GG/moderation.jpg

I guess I just love handing huge wads of money out to Nintendo. Not only did I fork out for a DS phat and Lite, I bought a DSi at launch and then, last week, went and bought an XL while my DSi had no problems (save an unresponsive R button) and I didn't trade it in. In fact, I think I handed down my Lite and bought another, making 5 (The same as the cameras!!) the number of DS systems I, personally, have owned and used. In my defense, I only have my DSi and XL anymore, and a GBA SP for, well, GBA. The point is if you've taken such extraordinary care of your phat then you should wait. But I for one don't regret buying any of those DS's. --- //Vash@Hyrule//5199-0348-5905// //Kat@Hyrule//0689-7168-7147// ||..*YUNA*..||((0024-7732-8424-0921))
