THey really should make it 1 screen already

I like the 2 screens. Sure, many games don't really use both properly, but many do. Plus, we can't have 3D or touch on one screen.
Now...that's assuming you want both....

Right, and the PSP has MUCH better battery life with a single screen right? XD

I love the second screen for minimaps. Helps to keep the clutter and such off the main action, especially with such a small screen.
NEVER judge a game you have not played.

Make it one screen and ditch backwards comatibility? Not a great marketing move, now it it? Besides, the two screens are good for the reasons already mentioned.

I'd be fine with one screen if only to get rid of the touchscreen...if they made it a normal screen I'd love it.

I just realized... Each handheld had backwards compatibility with the previous handheld(save for the original GB). So if that trend is to be maintained, does that mean every Nintendo handheld needs to have 2 screens from here on out? It makes sense if you think about it...

What I was hoping for with the 3DS was that instead of having the clamshell design, one screen would always be showing with a second that would slide out if needed. That way, everyone wins!
