Is this a practical example of Coverage Bias?

Yes, videogames ARE a waste of time.

No, there are real benefits that can be acquired from video games. The military uses video games for training, (it's much better and safer to train in a flight simulator for example). The study I mentioned about improving spacial awareness suggested that video games could be used to improve the driving skills of the elderly who's spatial awareness has deteriorated (spacial awareness obviously is an important skill when it comes to driving). And you can talk bad about all those Wii sport and Wii Fit games, but they are a viable substitute for more mainstream cardiovascular exercise. I remember reading about a UK woman who went from about 250 lbs, to 140 pounds using Wii Fit; she was too embarrassed to sign up at a gym, or even jog in the street. She straightened out her diet, and worked out diligently, and she managed to get in shape. Honestly though, humans learn best through play. The potential of video games to do good is far from having been reached.

Would the 3DS be too classy to take to the toilet?

the only thing it's a waste of time is to have to work daily 10 hours for having a bit of meat and to pay your home during the rest of your life. So, if you can't do anything comfortable, you are wasting your entire life. Videogames are not a waste of time more than watching tv, it's just another circus to the people, like gladiators fights in the Roman Empire. So, everyone is free to select his role on life: live or be a tool for capitalism.

Didn't they teach in preschool that goods aren't coming from thin air?
