A battery indicator with a percent or animation that shows more than just "OKAY" and "OMG RECHARGE NOW!"

If the 3DS gets a Dashboard kind of setup like the Wii/360/PS3, it could easily do it.

I'd like to see that implemented on the menu and by hitting the home button. For example, you're playing a game, and want to know the battery level, so you hit the home button. It says "Are you sure you want to go home?" With a yes/no option. And in the corner, it could have the volume level and the battery percent.
