So, is the 3DS being marketted solely as console gaming on a handheld?

Or will we still get a fair share of handheldish games?

I mean, a significant reason the PSP flopped(kind of, it still sold 60 million units), was BECAUSE it was marketted as console games on a handheld. While the DS filled a certain role, the PSP felt like it was just giving a gimped version of what consoles could.

The 3DS doesn't look as good as current generation consoles...

Don't get me wrong, the 3DS is gorgeous, but i'm sure Sony will again be the one to attempt a "home console" handheld. I think the 3DS has plenty of juice though. It looks great because this is the next generation of handhelds, but I think the 3DS' power is more in line with GCN.

PSP really didn't get much console-calibur titles.

Don't get that feeling from the 3DS either. The games just look great fun.
