What's the odds of the 3DS being so hard to find at launch?

Just pre-order in time or get ready to pay a heavy premium for one of ebay or the like. That's the burden of being an early adopter.

or you can just get in line at a store that doesn't take pre-orders a couple of hours before it opens. That's what I did for the wii.

But to address the topic, it will definitely be hard to find.

lets just hope that nintendo's anticipating this and will have more than enough systems ready for launch. for example i remember when the last harry potter came out and they had 12 million copies ready on launch day. thats what nintendo should do.

I'm hope this will be the case. The 3ds launch shouldn't be like the Wii's. Nintendo didn't know that the Wii was going to be so successfull. They probably know the 3ds is going to be a success so they should have a lot of them by launch.

I think that if it's released around Christmas, it's inevitable. If it's released next year, all you need to do is pre-order in time.

I cant imagine that Nintendo can even possibly produce a number of 3DS 's so that everybody who wants one will get one. The demand for this thing will just be insane.
Oh Indeed

I live in Europe, i can buy the 3DS whenever i want. We hardly have stock problems here (at least where i live), because video games are ridiculously expensive.
