Will the 3DS have an SD memory card slot like the DSi.

I haven't heard anything about it. I don't have a DSi but I'm planning on getting the 3DS. So what exactly is the memory card on the DSi for? Is it for storing DSi ware games? Will you even be able to put DSi ware games on the 3DS?

Yes.

I suppose that it will be used for storing pictures and 3DS/DSi games that you buy on the internet shop. I doubt that nintendo is stupid enough to make people waste their money on DSi games and not let them put it on the 3DS.

I sort of doubt that you will be able to transfer games from the DSi to the 3DS through the SD card because Nintendo made sure that you couldn't share them no matter what (they don't plan on losing money on them). Although, I do think that if you have a club nintendo account that you will be able to re-download the games you bought on the DSi on to the 3DS.
