I thought so too until I realized that ditching the second screen means ditching backwards compatibility. No thanks.


Why not just play your DS games on your perfectly good DS?

Why not Nintendo be smart and include BC on the 3DS so that not only will the transition to the 3DS will be smooth since you'll still have your DS games to play on it while waiting for the 3DS library to grow, you also will only need to carry one system instead of two when going out.

psp sales are a drop in the bucket compared to the ds sales. I do think the psp is a good system, but the touch screen really appealed to people. people like innovation, something ninyendo has always been on top of.

Sorry TC but two screens are better than one. It's a clamshell design so why not keep the second screen.

Touchscreen functionality is amazing in games like Meteos, Kirby Canvas Curse, Advance Wars . Metroid Prime hunters, and Scribblenauts.

the second screen is also sometimes useful for all kinds of clutter, like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Whenever I play my PSP is miss the second screen.
