I don't want a 3DS Smash Brother's for this sole reason:

It would destroy my buttons within a month..

the DSi shoulder buttons didn't last very long, and if any button decides to go out on the 3DS because of excessive use, then it isn't as easy as replacing a controller

I played Taiko no Tatsujin for almost every day for a year, and that's pretty shoulder button heavy (if you don't use the touch screen). And my L button works great, and so does my R button, so long as I blow it out first. :D

Nintendo's customer service is better than my grandma. They fixed my DSi's L button with little more than a "Ok send it in and we'll fix it in a jif"
You know Nintendo's a beast when Sony has a great conference and they poop on them with 2 games - NitemareNS

I have had every Nintendo video game system ever released, and I have never had any controller button fail on me even though I am a hardcore gamer. Super Smash Bros. should be made and released on the 3DS. Whoever is afraid that playing the game will ruin their 3DS's buttons will simply not buy the game.

What kind of argument is this? A game is bad because it is so good that it exceeds the 40 hours of "life time" by so much that your buttons break from overusage? That's like saying your favourite food is bad because you like it so much you don't want to eat something else anymore.
