Anyone else want a new 2-D zelda with traditional controls?

i dont know what you mean, about the oracle games and links awaking, cuz thats exactly what i was talking about for link to the past.

what is OoX btw, i am aware of Ocarina... and the two Oracle... games, what is OoX?

Traditional controls? Yes. The rest doesn't matter to me. It could be Zelda Kart for all I care, as long as I don't have to tap on things anymore.

OoX is used to refer to the complete story of the Oracle games, only playable by completing both OoS and OoA, thus OoX, where X can mean either Ages or Seasons.

They don't really have a choice but to do traditional controls now that the primary display is non touch.

If any Zelda game needs a remake its Link's Awakening. It's my favorite one, but yes I'd love to see a new 2D zelda w/ traditional controls. I hated the 2 DS zeldas mostly because of the stylus controls.
