This console NEEDS a virtual console

It's about time they started releasing older pokemon, zelda, and DK games..

All of the older pokemon games are obsolete because of the lack of ability to save your game

You've never heard of this problem?

It's extremely difficult to find a pokemon red yellow or blue that can still save.

the mini batteries within the games have gone dry and can't hold a save

<_< To be fair, it's an easily fixed problem. You just need to open up the cart and put in a new battery. Some soldering ability may be needed.

However, a virtual handheld would be a great thing to have, given the prices are reasonable.

The save thing happened to me when I was so far in the game. I was young and I didn't understand what happened so I kept starting a new file. Then I just gave up.

My friend went through 3 pokemon fire reds at a vintage stock before finding one that could save
My other friend had to go through just 2 to find his though

I though this issue was mostly with Gold/Silver/Crystal because it was always draining the battery to keep track of time...
