The 3DS is supposed to be backwards compatible, right?
So most of the games played on it would be from the DS, which has alot of Stylus based games.

i see no need for touch control, theres an analog. might be for quick menu navigation and ds backwards

I'm thinking that the new analog pad thingamajig will replace the usefulness of the stylus in many 3DS titles. They should just convert the bottom screen to a permanent quick-menu for all games.
