Fortified Zone (GameBoy)
Qix (Gameboy)

Dragon's Lair II; Time Warp (DSiWare)
Puzzle Fever (DSIWare)

Does anyone have any knowledge of the 2 Gameboy games?

Fortified Zone is kind of like a top-down shooter, something like Commando or Gunslingers. You can just about get a good idea of how the game plays from these screenshots:

I haven't played it, but to be honest I would expect that it has not held up very well.

Qix is a game that involves trying to "capture" 75%+ of the screen - you start off with 0% and anything that you can draw a rectangle around, you capture. There are enemies to avoid and game mechanisms to stop you from staying safe or just doing nothing.

It's an absolutely classic game and the GameBoy version is not a bad version. That being said, there absolutely are superior versions that have been made over the years, including Volefied, Qix II, Cubixx, and, rather oddly, Patchwork Heroes on PSP.

Yes, but the GameBoy version is the only one that has a Mexican Mario wearing a sombrero.

OK, NOW I'm starting to get slightly annoyed.
Dear Nintendo. NO ONE GIVES A CRAP ABOUT THESE PATHETIC GAMES THAT HARDLY ANYONE EVER PLAYS! Where the HELL is Mario? God, even Mario & Yoshi (Yoshi/Yoshi's Egg).

Did anyone really expect lots of big-name games in the first month or so?

Anyway, while I fully agree that the Virtual Console has been fairly weak so far, Qix is hardly a lame addition to the roster, and at least there's two games this week instead of just one. Admittedly, in an ideal world, this would be one of the sort of boring, average weeks, but in terms of what we've gotten so far I'd regard it as an improvement over anything except maybe the first week.

I'd gladly take those over Tennis. At least with two games released in a week, there's a better chance of at least one of them being good. And they can get to the games you want quicker.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

So July 14th, 21st or 28th WILL have 3D Classics Xevious.

How do I know? Well actually most people will probably know. If the game is confirmed for a release in July in Europe, AND those are the dates that the eShop is updated, then it's impossible for there to even be a wrong answer, isn't there? Other wise, if it isn't released on (or at least by) any of those dates, then Mario is not going to be in the next Smash game.

That doesn't matter. Japan had it at launch and it's still not a 3D Classic I want.
