hmm Fortified Zone doesn't look too bad... Zelda/Metal Gear without sneaking and with guns is how it's described in this video of the first stage...

I looked at a video of Qix and it looked like it aged worse...

Did anyone really expect lots of big-name games in the first month or so?

To be fair, Mario, Zelda and DK in the first month were more than I expected. I'm waiting on the GG games and I'm set.

The Gameboy lineup is a bit.. .. strange.

With Super Mario Land and Zelda Links Awakening you'd think they'd follow up with titles like:
Tetris.
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.
Castlevania: The Adventure.
Metroid 2: Return of Samus.
Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.
Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge.

After that obviously followed by:
Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land.
Castlevania: Belmont's Revenge (and CV Legends)
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (Oracle of Seasons)
Megaman 2..3..4.. etc.

Mixed with some odd titles like:
Adventure Island 1/2.
Adventures of Lolo.
Bomberman 1/2/3.
Bubble Bobble 1/2.
Burai Fighter (Deluxe)
Contra: The Alien Wars (Probotector)
Gargoyle's Quest (Already available in Japan)
Final Fantasy Adventure (aka Mystic Quest in the EU)
FInal Fantasy Legend 1/2/3.
Pokemon R/B/Y.
Turrican (or Universal Soldier aka Turrican 2)
Wizards & Warriors: Fortress of Fear.

But not Alleyway.. Radar Mission.. Tennis? Those are really 'bottom of the bargain bin titles'

Maybe by the time the 3DS pre-paid cards are released in the EU those titles are all reality.. humpf.. That's how long I think it's going to take..

I'm starting to wonder if people actually play games instead of just buying them for "face value quality".
