graphically, superior to psp and dsi, it's better than Wii graphics. I never turn on the 3D, so I'd say novelty, it is a nice addition for those that do like 3D. The 3DS plays mp3 now, and will play videos and netflix later.
There is video playback, but not for any of your existing videos. You're limited to what Nintendo, and later Netflix, offer. --- Sent from my 3DS Now playing: Atelier Iris 3, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
I don't have extended experience with any particular PSP game, but the work of Capcom on the 3DS makes it seem that the 3DS can produce more impressive visuals than the PSP, and in stereoscopic 3D.
The 3DS is simply more capable than the DSi. --- If the game gets a bad score, bash the game; if the game gets a good score, bash the reviewer. - stanthelovebot Buy these: Klonoa (Wii), Fragile Dreams,
Graphically, the DSi is identical to the DS, which was N64-ish. 3DS has more graphical power than the Wii and blows the DS and DSi out of the ass. --- Sent from my 3DS Now playing: Atelier Iris 3, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
LordAndrew posted... Graphically, the DSi is identical to the DS
I don't know that that is accurate. The DSi had more RAM, and additional computational components. If that additional hardware could be used for game software, then the games could look visually superior to a DS only game. Some DSiWare may have taken advantage of it in a noticable way. --- If the game gets a bad score, bash the game; if the game gets a good score, bash the reviewer. - stanthelovebot Buy these: Klonoa (Wii), Fragile Dreams,
From: NUGGZZ | #009 WOW, those videos look awesome. I wish I could play one before purchasing.
any racing games other than RR? Good ones.
yeah, the Resident Evil games look really nice. Dead or Alive Dimensions also looks great but online videos don't do it justice. Ridge Racer is the best racer available on the 3DS right now. The 3D in Ridge Racer looks great but graphically overall it's a little mixed. It's still a good game though.
The thing with the 3DS is that you really can't see how good games for it look unless you're viewing them on the 3DS screen in 3D. The E3 videos from this year look good in 2D but when you can see those trailers in 3D they take on a whole new look.

It looks good, a little blocky but nice.. but when viewed in 3D it really becomes very impressive.
The 3DS is hard to sell to people who can't get some hands on time with it.. The in-store displays really don't do it justice because you can't get comfortable with the way the displays are set up, the harsh store lighting, the commotion of being in a store.. not to mention several demo systems are in bad shape from being abused by customers.
As I said, It's a great system and has real potential to be something special. --- Go Go Big Underpants !!!! http://i.imgur.com/LBWlN.jpg - http://i.imgur.com/K0UBk.jpg - http://i.imgur.com/xzXVR.png
