Well my new black 3DS has a cm of wobble but no dead pixels.

From what i've read through google searches is 1 cm of wobble is normal so the hinges don't crack.

Other people are claiming any wobble is a defect. So which is it?

Should i feel lucky i got 0 dead pixels and the slight wobble?

Also, the quality of the 3d camera makes me wanna vomit. Tons of grain and overexposed brightness.

The 3DS is supposed to have slight wobble. You're good. If you feel like it's wobbling way more than you think it should and it's interfering with playing the 3DS, then maybe yours has too much wobble.

Let's just say i can feel the wobble more than i can see it.

What do you mean by wobble?

The camera isn't meant to take photos that you will treasure forever. It's just for fun.

EDIT: I presume by wobble you mean the top screen shaking a bit?

The wobble is completely normal. Nintendo has learned from their overtight DS Lite incidence that caused countless cracked hinges.

The first batch of white ones had tighter hinges that left the plastic prone to cracking at the hinge. They pretty much fixed this by the time other colors started rolling out a few months later. My white DS Lite had this problem and I ended up trading it in for another color because it annoyed me.

Yeah. My early white DS Lite's hinge cracked. But then my black/crimson DS Lite's hinge also cracked a couple years afterwards. So it wasn't really fixed with later colors I don't think. Either that or I was unlucky. I babied both of them.. Why did they both have to break :'(
