My wife has a 3DS so I streetpass her everyday. Her Mii is level 7 (which is max level) and she would do 5 - 6 damage to the final ultimate ghost. Once in a while she would get a crit hit in and do 21 damage. It took me about a week to beat the ultimate ghost.

Best of luck.

Level 2 works. You can also use a certain magic (pink?) to triple damage at the expense of less accuracy. That will allow level 1 heroes to do damage. You might want to use your level 2 heroes first though, because it's possible that all their attacks will miss once that magic is activated.

My best luck was using a pink animal to cast the crit always spell, then attack with a level 7 mii. Even if you miss twice you'll deal more damage because of how armor and crits work.

Some thoughts:
- Use your heroes in proper order for best results.
- Purple magic is your friend. Open with this.
- Also, Yellow magic is preferable. Pink magic is acceptable.
- Both raise the critical hit ratio, but Yellow can give extra turns.
- If you cannot get Yellow or Pink, any level 1 Red or Blue spells will do some damage at least.
- Orange magic isn't useful with only level 1 heroes.
- Green magic should be used on higher leveled heroes for max damage. Especially in a sandstorm.
- A level 1 Brown hero should always try magic.

Yeah, you should always open with a Poison. And if possible, freeze the enemy or put them to sleep. Here's what I usually do:

- start with poison
- use freeze/sleep magic
- Use green (? I forget; whichever one doubles level) magic on a level 2 or higher character
- Attack with said character. He'll get multiple hits, and the poison still takes effect when the enemy is frozen/asleep.

Yep, green doubles the next character's level.
