Problem getting Nintendo Coins.

#1TH3_SYNPosted 7/11/2011 7:32:06 AM
First of all I am not fat and Lazy or anything, I am pretty sure I walk many thousands of steps a day with absolutely no problem at all hours of the day.

The problem is I live in a dangerous city.. where I would be insane or either filthy rich to carry a $600 USD (yes they cost that much here) handheld around the streets, or into the subway or parks etc... where any armed thief could take it away.

And once I get home late at night I donīt make much physical activity as I go to gym in the mornings, so I am stuck at ZERO coins since May for this very reason.

What can I do to get coins?

Stick the 3DS to a toy train and leave it on all day?

And I thought you were talking about Club Nintendo. These are actually called Play Coins.

Just shake the 3DS for like five to ten minutes and you'll get 1000 steps. It depends on how vigorous you are with your 3DS, but it doesn't take anywhere near an hour.

1000 steps is nothing. Just keep it in your pocket around the house or at work or whatever.

1: Keep it in your pockets while you walk around the house
2: Sit it (securely) on a washing machine or fan
3: Attach it to a dog/pet/younger sibling
4: Shake it.

You can walk around with your 3DS at home. 100 steps gives you one Play Coin, and 100 steps is trivial. 1000 steps shouldn't be too difficult either.

0.1 hours. Seriously, just a gentle bouncing on the thigh for about 6/10 minutes.

People really overestimate the number of steps it takes...

what country are you from?

It's funny how many steps it actually takes to go places, we vastly overestimate the lengths of our strides apparently. Just going to and from the gas station to get a pop that's nearby nets me like 500 steps. Just shake it, most males are used to shaking their arm for up to 10 minutes anyways... *cough*
