Personally, like 10. But my two older bros buy most of the things I want and I just play it too. So including stuff they buy, around 50-60.

Between my brother and I... we've had our Gamestop point card things a year now, and already we're at about 30,000 points. Then there's the Steam and Good Old Games sales, which only increase the number...

On average, it's about one video game per paycheck, minimum. Some games we buy doubles of to play together, like Fear 3 or Resident Evil 5, but still... we buy a LOT of games. If I had to throw out a number, probably about 40+ games a year, if not higher.

Now, for handhelds specifically, a lot less. We're not big handheld gamers. The last three handheld games I bought were Zelda last weekend, Lego Star Wars 3DS when it came out, and... I think Phantasy Star Portable when it came out?
