My activity log of my software played is way off

#1BigReedPosted 7/13/2011 7:42:40 PM
I noticed at launch that my time played for street fighter 4 seems low, even at 27 hours. I couldn't really judge it because sf4's time counter is weird too.

But I've been playing my backlog of ds games, and the 3ds does a bad job of counting time. I've played 17 hours of Nostalgia and my activity log is telling me that I've only played 9 hours.

Is anybody elses mysteriously incorrect as well?

I've noticed that it didn't track Monster Tale the first time I played it, so the log is missing several hours of gameplay for that title. I haven't payed much attention otherwise.

Maybe you guys are just bad at keeping track of time. Mine works just fine. Remember, there are only 24 hours in a day. Not 30.

The activity log doesn't track the music player in sleep mode, so the majority of the time spent with the music player isn't tracked.

Are you high?

The ds game Nostalgia I'm playing is an rpg with a save sytem that shows your time played. It's at 18 hours right now, and my activity log shows 10 hours, which is wrong.

It's also been wrong with alot of other software I'm noticing.

I know I played Monster Tale for more than 0 minutes. I'm not that bad at keeping track of time.

Have you ever exploited the time/date for coins? Might be that. After I replaced my battery with the Nyko one, my activity log got all whacked as well.

The Activity Log only shows hours/minutes played on that system only. You may have played Nostalgia for 18 hours on the card, but you only played it for 10 on the system: which the Activity Log keeps track of.
