Region Free

It couldn't happen, the 3DS being region-locked is obviously something that Nintendo has in their publisher license agreements, they can't suddenly take it away.

That's why the PS3, which is region-free, still honours the region code for PS1 and PS2 games.

Most of the trolls that "hate" Nintendo couldn't be more the opposite. They wouldn't be on a Nintendo board day after day if they didn't have some type of admiration for the games they create. It's just a way of amusing themselves while they're on that particular board. They can deny it all they want, but the proof is in the pudding. No gamer is going to go out of their way to remain a constant annoyance to something they don't even have interest in. Sure, there's a few that might ruffle some feathers for a day or two, but for it to last months/years? Not very believable or likely.

You could have a US PSP but make a Europe or Japan account to get games. Meaning you don't even need to import, just download games you want from other regions.

The only bad thing is you have to keep switching accounts and activating them.
