Rare are wasted at MS, bring them back to Nintendo.

And make Banjo Kazooie Three Deeie for 3DS.

I would buy it.

The biggest gaming crime of the decade is MS murdering and wasting good talent.

They were already going down hill when Nintendo had them as developers around the Gamecube era. Turns out there was a valid reason Nintendo sold Rare off, they ceased to be decent developers. As it stands, Retro Studios has become a new sort of Rare. Nintendo doesn't need them nor want them. As it is, Rare has made a couple of ok games, but a bunch of mediocre or downright bad games since Nintendo sold them off. The biggest disappointment was probably Banjo Kazooie Nut and Bolts. It's not a fault of Microsoft, it's their own lack of competence. Nintendo saw their decline and cut them out before they became a liability. I don't know what MS sees in them (likely very little judging how few games Rare even makes anymore).

And yes, Rare are only still Rare in name alone. Pretty much all their staff are long gone. From what i gather, they joined Free Radical Design, which became Crytek.

I remember the hoopla around their leaving Nintendo. Everyone thought it was the end of Nintendo. Now we know, it was one of the smartest things NIntendo has ever done. The problem now, is that all the real talent from Rare has probably moved on. Rare as we knew it probably just doesn't exist anymore. So while it would be nice to get back games like Jet Force Gemini, the quality of the games would probably be well below expectations.

To me Rare is the worst Dev/ company whatever in the world.period.

They have so many hit Ip's and you telling me they can't make a game with one let alone a good game.

Any other company would have at least used the name and got great sales even if the game was crap. You telling me they can't even do what bad companies do all the time. this is what makes them beyond low. The slap in the face is the got the M$ marketing push in their back pocket and they still can't do jack. Glad M$ sent them to work on mini games.
