Clicking Upper Screen Worries...

#1DynoStretchPosted 7/15/2011 12:59:07 PM
I just bought this system an hour ago but something has me nervous. Should I be concerned about this snapping/clicking sound I hear when I fully open the 3DS? I'm having bad flashbacks from my mishaps with the DS Lite. Is this what they all do or should I return it?

I have the Nintendo warranty that came with the package, but better prevent then heal, ya know?

Any input you guys can give will be nice, thank you.

It's supposed to make a click sound when you fully push your 3DS screen open. If you leave it open the way it should be, it shouldn't make the click sound.

Leave it open...? I thought we were supposed to close these things when we're done with them.

you're not supposed to open it so it's fully flat. there should be a slight angle and yes it should click.

Oh no no, I don't open it until it's flat or anything, I just do it enough so that it's at an angle, like how people normally do it.

If the click is natural, then fine. That's a huge load off my back. Thank you.
