i wouldnt be surprised if MM dies this gen

i hope capcom just sells that IP to sega (platnium games) or nintendo (they have a bunch of good first/second party support that can revive megaman)

its like you dont understand the games industry at all

sega is where games go to die
well i guess they share that title with nintendo too, look how badly mario and zelda has been milked

MM was great a couple gens ago, but now? its time to move on, same with mario
a single franchise shouldnt be what you depend on to carry a games system

Mario, Zelda, etc. Haven't been milked. I think you are confused yourself.

Especially considering Sega is starting to improve drastically, and milking means they put no effort into a series. [Looking at all new LoZ games in the past years that aren't updated ports, or ports] they put quite a bit of effort that includes Mario games as well.

Especially with the introduction of Kirby once again [traditional style] and more, Nintendo is running stronger than ever and going back to the hardcore fans and making it the Nintendo of olden days who appeals to both sides.

sega has published some good games this gen (most made by platnium games)
- bayonetta
- vanquish (i hated the game but most people like it)
- bleach blades of fate 1 (made by treasure)
- madworld (platnium games again)
and on the horizon
- anarchy reigns
- asuras wrath

as for the mario comment, its not milked until they run out of ideas...
every mario game is different (sure they use recycled enemies) but the level design is what gets mario through and every iteration of mario is a new game with new mechanics (except for galaxy 2)

sure the mario name is milked, but its the gameplay that matters...
if anyone cant see that mario is always evolving and gameplay is always changing then i can safefly say they havent paid attention to the ingame mechanics and are just too stuck on the product name
^edit= im talking about the main mario games and not spin off (party, sports title, vs sonic etc)

i gotta keep reminding myself im talking to a nintendo fan, their logic is different, kinda the same as those who still believe in religion. deluded and circular logic...but i digress!

if you dont think mario has been milked you should never class yourself as a gamer again. i cant even name all the mario games anymore there are that many, thats not even counting the spinoffs.
they use mario for everything, lets not forget that nintendo award thing from a couple weeks ago, what was it those people got for being loyal...a couple of mario styled buttons?

instead of focusing on new and exciting IPs they just churn out mario games, they mostly only sell because their fans are both stupid and lack any decent games in the first place, they take what they can get. try to deny this without bsing.

milking doesnt just mean putting no effort in, it means using a well established product and flooding the market with it because it sold.
why is it the only games that really sell well for nintendo are the games we all played many years ago?
