How do I update my 3DS?

Apparently I still don't have a web browser or any other features, and it won't update. I'm connected to my own home network, so I don't see what the problem is...

If you go to Best Buy, the Geek Squad can do it for you. :p

IIRC, it's somewhere in System settings.

You actually have an internet connection set up on your 3DS? That might be a stupid question, but sometimes the most obvious question is has the answer.

Also, are you updating it properly? As in System Settings -> Other Settings -> Page 4 -> System Update ->.... other stuff -> Wait -> ??? -> Profit?
