The 3DS isn't a failure.....

it's just dead in the water now until November. While that is by no means a good thing, more games will indeed come. It's not like the list we see now is all there is going to be.

And honestly, once I get my hands on Mario kart and Smash Bros, the entire system will be justified regardless of whatever else comes out. In the mean time, we can enjoy the few good games we do have.

I do believe the 3DS will always remain a relatively "slow" system though, with less frequent titles than the DS/GBA/GB. But that's a good thing IMO, a really good game every month or two is plenty for me on a handheld. Many may disagree, but most of my time goes to consoles and PC anyway.

It's dead in the water much longer for me.

I don't like Nintendo first parties not named Pokemon or Zelda.

SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked is out in August, Star Fox 64 3D and Bit.Trip Saga are both out in September. All are solid titles that will do a fine job of supporting the system until the big year end releases.

As long as the release dates on gfaqs are correct I'll have a game in september. Not that I need it. Might wait for a price drop actually..

Yeah; I actually own all of the upcoming ports/remakes. Cave Story 3D and Star Fox 64 3D are out for me. I'm still buying DSO for the extra plot, and Bit.Trip Saga for the portability (and actually, I do not own FATE).

Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Stacking, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, inFamous

That's not going to be $40 is it? Bit Trip is like $20 for everything on steam.
