in Nintendogs and Pilot Wings you can. It's up to the developer to implement this feature.

Nope. Again, an astronomically stupid mistake of Nintendo to not make it a basic feature.

you can depending on the game.. did you see my post ? It's not a Nintendo problem it's up to the developer to add the feature.

Also it's funny.. the only two games you can do this in are NINTENDO first party games.

you do know a majority of games (360, ps3, pc, psp nds, android) cant take ingame SS right? most are done through external plugins through not so legal means

wait for someone to hack the 3ds and hopefully a SS plugin will be made

The technology exists - I can take pictures of my games in Steam. It's not a complicated technology by any means.

PCs are different. -_- They (potentially) make the PS360 look like bricks. Don't make that comparison. We're talking about consoles here.

And this is a reason why a simple feature is absent... why?

The 3DS has the technology to take screenshots. It just lacks a company that cares about using rational thought.

... I admit I forgot where I was going with that.
I was gonna mention the lack of buttons (as if consoles aren't already lacking them... somewhat).
Not sure if power is a major factor, but I'd like it if my game didn't freeze while taking one.

But yeah, it's up to the developers, not the console itself (other than serving with its hardware). >.>
