Will SP work if I go to another country?

It's best if you turn off the wireless switch while playing Capcom games in foreign countries. If you pass by a wifi hotspot, the game can pinpoint your location, and if you're in a different region from where you bought the game, your game cartridge will brick itself, meaning it will never work again.

Capcom policy to prevent importing, you see.
